The official "in BFS we trust" thread.
I have never been a big fan but the level of abuse he gets on here is atrocious.

Top half of the table, still in the F A cup and building a good squad.

He gets it right more often than not and let's be honest no one else could have done better.

Think back to this time last year and rejoice in the fact that we are comfortably placed whilst teams like Hull, QPR, WBA etc etc fall around us and trust me EVERYONE of those clubs would take him off us.

In BFS I trust.

this thread should not only be pinned but also the title re-done in flashing letters to highlight the pom pom/foam fingered waving, blinkered cunts that have continually championed the fish munching hoofball merchant

Re: The official "in BFS we trust" thread.
I trust BFS, I trust BFS to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I trust BFS to stick to a one dimensional, simple approach and formation when faced with highly technically gifted, organised and strategically complex opposition, I trust BFS to order sitting back with no counterattacking options, I trust BFS to never win anything nor even go for it, I trust BFS to turn our best squad for years into a pale imitation of last years team by sticking to his formation and insisting on making quality players stick to roles that no one in the football world (fans included) can understand, I trust BFS to abuse our past (when we won things) to reinforce his 'vision' of how football should be played (see Bolton/Preston in the 3rd Division in the 70s), I trust BFS when things come right in spite of his management and we're winning to get them 'back on track' by bottling it and shitting himself, I trust BFS to pick and choose the games to compete in thus undermining any form built up and abusing the fans in one fell swoop. Finally I trust BFS to further abuse our fans by taking their money for tickets (6000 today) and treating them to contemptible displays of 'don't care about cup competitions' football.

Well done Sam, disappointed with a point but I never thought I would be saying that this time last season.

Funny remark after about Man Utds long ball tactics.

I hope he gets a new 2 year contract.

Then a new manager would get slagged off on WHO. But let's be honest - that won't happen will it?

No other manager would play Nolan.

Re: The official "in BFS we trust" thread.
So what if....

Sam goes in the summer, A manager comes in that everybody wants (highly unlikely with the cunts on here)
But then the new manager plays Nolan most weeks ?

Re: The official "in BFS we trust" thread.
I guess the point is that most interpret the recent changes for the worse reasons whereas I don't. SA had to try and bring his £17m striker and life-long captain back into the ranks. It hasn't worked but it was something that any manager loyal to his previous best players would do.

Andy Carroll is worth persevering with but if SA keeps trying to shoe-horn Nolan in then you are right. But I think we should see what happens. I expect Nolan to be dropped for the next game but to come on as a late sub and to continue with that for a while once we have all our midfielders back.

I think Nolan will go in the summer or move over to being a player/coach

Willtell

unless nolan and carroll are injured for the next 2 seasons, every chance in carrolls case and unless sully takes control on transfers completely he is always going to revert to what he thinks is best. I do have a certain admiration for his stubbornness but I would sooner admire while he was at hull or somewhere fitting.

Behave you fucking clown, I'd have bitten his face off after Liverpool given half the chance. You're a proper flip flopping cunt when it comes to the fat cunt aren't you?"

Well it's easy to say you'd have bitten SA's face off but he is a big bloke and I'd like to see it when you do...

My attitude is probably confusing on a forum but to clarify - I don't like the man as a WH manager. I don't like his usual brand of football. I don't think he will ever be a good fit at WH.

However, he has done all that was asked of him. He got promotion by the skin of his teeth but he did it. He has kept us in the Premier League for two seasons and he changed to an attacking formation that surprised us all. Trying to fit Nolan and Carroll in has derailed the progress but circumstances seem to be conspiring to correct that for him.

Sacking managers rarely improves matters but SA's contract is up for renewal in a few months. WH shouldn't renew it unless he shows in the next few weeks that he can guide the team back to being a side capable of beating any team with quick attacking football.

If SA does that and we end up in 6th or 7th place why would we not want to keep him for another 2 seasons?
